I started having dreams that came true when I was quite young. One of the ones that stands out is that my 1st grade teacher asked me to teach another girl how to read. The following day in school, my teacher did exactly that.
My teacher asked me to tutor one of my classmates during recess. I had just had an appendectomy and could not go out and play anyway. My classmate was a little slower than the others in reading and I could already read because my Grandmother had taught me how.
I have had so many dreams happen the very next day that I came to know that the dreams I could remember were from God. There was always peace in these dreams no matter how bad the dreams were. If there was fear or turmoil in a dream, I knew it was not from God.
Later in life God would use dreams to teach me things or tell me what he was doing or going to do. If the dream was in syllables, I would ask Him what it meant and he would reveal the meaning to me in pictures in my head. I have also had a lot of déjà vu days.

Dan 1:17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Joel 2:28-29 "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
Acts 2:17-18 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
