I didn't feel very well and did not want to go to Al's Mom's with him. Al stopped on the way and picked up some groceries for his Mom.

She called me and I told her Al was getting her groceries and would be at her home soon. He had already left and I was staying home because I didn't feel very good.

Five minutes later, Al called and said he got the groceries and found he had locked himself out of the truck. Would I please get the spare truck key and come bail him out. Of course I said I would.

I was so focused on getting the truck key that I grabbed it from the key board, grabbed my purse, locked the door knob and as the door slammed behind me, I saw the keys to my car laying on the table by my chair.

Now, Al is locked out of the truck at Dillon's. I'm locked out of the house and my car. I was manager of the community we live in and could use the office phone to call Al; but those keys are with the rest of the keys in our home. What a mess. I just sat down on the porch and started laughing.

My next door neighbor Joe came home about then. I told him what happened and after he quit laughing, he took me to Dillon's to bail Al out.

Now I have to explain why I'm not in my car. More laughter.

We get to Al's Mom's and she goes, "What's she doing here." After I tell her what happened she has a good laugh.

I personally think God invented locks and keys so we could all have a good laugh.

After all that laughing, I felt better. "Laughter is good medicine."

Eccl 3:4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;

Prov 17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
