1 batch Mashed Potatoes (See Vegetables)
1 pan Brown Beef Gravy (See Gravy)
1 lb. Ground Round
2 Tblsp. Olive Oil
˝ med. Onion, chopped
1 can Early Peas
1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
1 sm. Can Mushrooms (optional)
Cut up potatoes and put in pot to boil. Brown meat in 12-inch skillet and remove from pan. Add Olive Oil and sauté’ onions. Remove onions from oil. Make Beef Gravy (See Gravy). Add Mean and Onions to gravy and stir. Bring to a boil and cover. Turn fire off. Put Early Peas on to heat. Make Mashed Potatoes (See Vegetables). Put mashed potatoes in center of a plate and make a hole in the middle. Fill hole with Meat Gravy. Top gravy with Peas. Cover Peas with cheese. Serves 4-5
