Tea should be in a covered container when refrigerated to preserve its taste. A pitcher of iced tea loses its benefits after 5 days in the refrigerator.
Tea must seep in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes to get the benefits. If you seep it longer than that, it starts to get bitter. The longer you seep it the more bitter it will taste.
Fill picture to water line and pour water in tea maker. Add cubed Ice to Iced tea line and add Sweet’N low, honey or sugar to taste. Check the bottom of the teabag holder to make sure it is closed. Remove paper from Teabags. Add teabags, cover and put in picture. Turn on Iced tea maker. When the light goes off, Lift lever to drain rest of liquid into pitcher. Add water to tea. Stir Tea. Pour over a glasses of ice and enjoy. Serves 4-6
