william patrick mccrory fought in the civil war in company c of the 7th al cav. they rode under that Devil Nathan Bedford Forrest. That is what the union officers called him Pat (as william patrick was called) was wounded at franklin tenn on nov 30, 1864 he was captured by yankees on christmas day. and spent the last few months of the war in champ chase ohio. his brother was shot and killed on the same day at the same place in the same battle. his brothers name was thomas elmore mccrory. elmo was taken back home for buiriel in lowndes co. alabama at hopewell cemetery. if any one sees this and knows anything else about tom elmo mccrory i would appreciate your help. thanks, o. mccrory
