8. Christine Chernesky, e mail, When I was in Scotland I looked Gram up in the Highland Genealogy Archives. Did not take long to find Grandma and mom. The Story's married in with the Ogilvy's primarily to gain more wealth and power. The Story clan was already powerful as were the Ogilvy's. So mom had a portion of the tale correct. She and Grandma did come from royalty of sorts and they and we are of Scottish decent not Irish. We do however have "relations" in Ireland but I did not follow that through.
