When our daughter, Stephanie, was about 10 years old, she heard that Filet’ Minion was the best steak. We could not afford them.
I made up this recipe and told her it was Filet’ Minion. She loved it.
When she was a senior in high school, a friend took her out to a restaurant and she had the real thing.
She came home and said, "Mother that is Fake Steak." She still likes it and now feeds it to her children by its real name: Fake Steak.
