Pork Chops with
Apples

4 center cut pork chops (1/2 - 1 inch thick, salted and peppered)
2 cups Un-cooked minute rice
2 medium Delicious apple (pealed, cored and cut in 1 inch square pieces)
1 medium onion (diced)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 cups water
2 Tbsp olive oil
Preheat over to 375 degrees (about 10 minutes)
Salt and pepper pork chops. Heat oil in fry pay and lightly brown pork chops on both sides. Remove chops to side. Sautee onions in drippings from chops. Add rice to pan and stir until coated with juices from pork chops.
Put rice and onions in oblong baking dish. Add salt, pepper, apples & water. Stir until mixed well. Lay pork chops on top and put in oven. Bake for 30 minutes and turn chops over. Bake another 30 minutes or until brown.
Serves 4
Serve with:
Sweet peas, green beans or baked beans
Rolls, corn bread or garlic bread
Iced Tea, milk or red wine
