Pork Roast

1               Med. Pork Roast (your choice)

2 Tbsp.     Olive Oil

     Salt

     Black Pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Salt and Pepper all sides of roast. Heat oil in skillet and brown roast on all sides. Wrap roast in aluminum foil or put in a Reynolds cooking bag or put in a covered casserole dish. Bake for about an hour or until done all the way through. Slice into ½ inch slices crossways (makes the meat tender). If there is any part that is not done (white inside), return to oven and bake until completely done. Use Oil and juices from roast to make Pork gravy. Serves 5-7

Serve with

Au Gratin Potatoes, mashed Potatoes or Rice & Gravy

Salad and/or favorite beans

White Wine, Iced Tea or Milk

Vitamins

Roast              B12, B3, B6, Iron

Olive Oil         E, Polyphenol

Applesauce and pineapple go really well with any kind of pork. 

I had a nurse who told me that pineapple has the same enzymes as our stomach produces to digest our food.  Therefore, if I ate a pineapple square before I ate any kind of meat or fat, I would be able to digest it better.  She was so right.
